Dr. Pamela R. Smith
is a former paralegal, court reporter, church administrator and
Christian Education Director. She has served in the capacity of a
Singles' Ministry Coordinator, Youth Pastor, Daycare Administrator,
Grants Manager, Purchasing Manager, Executive Assistant, and Church Business Manager. She has been in ministry
for over nineteen years.
Pamela
has a calling to help
equip Christians to efficiently serve in their local church and to equip them
to fulfill their God-given purpose. She has ministered at numerous
conferences, workshops and/or seminars, and church services throughout
the country. She and her husband Kenny oversee
Equipping Ministries,
Inc., a training ministry for churches and individuals and own a
Christian Education
Bookstore and book publishing company,
Turning Point
Publications.
Pamela has worked with churches of various denominations and races. She
has help to set up offices, install and train on financial software,
train new secretaries, etc. Her broad background in church work, government,
including being the office coordinator for a politician, and a grants
writer and manager, enable her to bring seasoned experience and
knowledge to your church staff.
She is the
author of the
popular book
“Stopping
the DreamKillers”, and "The Effective Church
Administrator - Tools to Survive Even Your Toughest Day", a manual
no church should be without. She is also the author of the highly
demanded,
"I'm Saved, Now What—The
New Believer's Handbook"
and
"Called Alongside - Ministering in the Spirit of an Armorbearer". as
well as her books, "Giving Birth to Your Purpose.".
and Soaring as a Leader.
In addition, she has written
numerous plays and
skits that have been produced all over the world, She has been on Trinity Broadcast Network (TBN) and
other television ministries and radio stations. She and her
husband have been interviewed by Your Church Magazine,
Christianity Today
International for its "Building Church Leaders"
training and is included in its online
Administrative Assistant Orientation Guide training.
God
has used Dr.
Smith
to write and implement curriculum for all age groups, including Church
Administrator Bachelor and Master degree programs for a college. She has
an earned PhD in Church Administration.. She and her husband Kenny have a passion to see the Body of Christ
equipped to do the work of the ministry. Their ministry is under the pastoral
covering of Bishop Steve Edmondson.
